## Features

### Prayer times and adhan

- Daily prayer times: See the Fajr, Sunrise, Dhuhr, Asr, Maghrib and Isha times for where you are on a single screen. It also shows how long remains until the next time.
- Adhan for every prayer: The adhan plays when the time begins. You choose separately for each prayer: silent, notification, notification with adhan sound, or adhan alarm.
- Reminder before the time: If you wish, your phone lets you know shortly before the time begins.
- Adhan Health: If your phone's battery saver or permission settings are blocking the adhan, it tells you. It shows you step by step how to fix it, with separate instructions for Samsung and Xiaomi.
- Today screen: The colour of the sky changes with the time of day. The countdown to the next prayer, the makruh times and the last third of the night appear on the same screen.
- Home screen widget: See the times from your phone's home screen without opening the app.
- Works without internet: Times are saved to your phone and the adhan is scheduled on the phone. Even with no internet you can see the times and hear the adhan.

### Calculation method and world cities

- Choosing the calculation method: In Türkiye the Diyanet times are used. If you wish, you can choose another method: Muslim World League, ISNA, Umm al-Qura (Mecca), Egypt, Karachi, Tehran, Gulf, Kuwait, Qatar, Singapore, France, Russia, Malaysia, Indonesia and others.
- Hanafi or Shafi'i Asr: You can choose the Asr time according to the Hanafi (shadow twice the object's length) or Shafi'i (shadow equal to the object's length) school.
- Rules for northern countries: In places such as Scandinavia where summer nights are very short, you can choose the rule used for Fajr and Isha.
- Cities from all over the world: You choose the country first, then the city. Mumin App automatically selects the calculation method commonly used in that country, and you can change it if you wish.
- Why is this time what it is?: There is a screen explaining how each time is calculated. You can see where the time comes from.

### Worship tools

- Qibla compass: Shows the direction of the qibla with your phone's compass. It also tells you how many kilometres it is to the Kaaba. The calculation is done on the phone; no internet is needed.
- Quran translation: You can read the Turkish translation. You can also follow your own khatm in the app.
- Dhikr counter and tasbih: You count by tapping the screen. The post-prayer tasbih is also in the app.
- Prayer tracking and qada calculation: You mark the prayers you have performed. You can enter your qada (make-up) prayer count and track it as it decreases.
- Supplications: Supplications with their sources given. The transliteration and meaning are provided together.
- Religious days, kandil nights and Hijri calendar: Kandil nights, Eids and religious days are marked on the calendar. The Gregorian and Hijri dates appear side by side.
- Ramadan timetable and iftar counter: Daily suhoor and iftar times are listed for Ramadan. You see how many hours remain until iftar on a counter.
- Zakat and fitr calculation: Enter your wealth and the app calculates the zakat amount. The fitr and fidya amounts are in the same section.

### Khatm Circle

- Khatm via WhatsApp: You set up the circle and send the resulting link on WhatsApp. Everyone who opens the link takes a juz' and marks it when they have read it.
- Joining without the app: Your friends do not need to download the app. They can open the link in their phone's browser and take a juz'.
- Others cannot see it: The circle's name, intention and participants' names are encrypted. Only people who receive the link can see them; Mumin App cannot see them either.
- Reporting inappropriate content: If you see an inappropriate circle, you can report it.

### Convenience for everyone

- Easy Mode: The text becomes much larger and the screen is simplified. You see the next prayer time at a glance. Ideal for setting up on your parents' phone.
- Reduced motion: If moving animations on screen bother you, they can be switched off.
